More Restaurants Tie Rewards To Social Networks Tax Credits for Prisoners McDonald's Warned: Drop the Toys or Get Sued Contacting pcAmerica
"Starbucks pays its Foursquare mayors (a title given as part of the Starbucks loyalty program) in discounted coffee, Tasti D-Lite awards additional customer-loyalty points when members check in via Foursquare or Twitter, and a new app actually pays users in cash for checking in. Increasingly, restaurants are discovering that location-based social marketing programs not only spur customer loyalty but also provide a yardstick to measure ROI on social marketing efforts." (From Restaurant Smart Brief)
More restaurants and food establishments like Tasti D-Lite are using location-based social marketing programs to bring in more customers and enhance customer loyalty.
The June 23rd edition of Restaurant Smart Brief highlighted the Tasti D-Lite awards program. pcAmerica worked with Tasti D-Lite to integrate the rewards program into Restaurant Pro Express which rewards customers for patronizing Tasti D-Lite and sharing their visit with their social media friends.

Tasti D-Lite, Starbucks, Dominos and others have successfully pushed their concept of location-based marketing. Their customers are very enthusiastic.
At least read about it. Speak to your pcAmerica account manager to see how you can use the social media to increase your sales. Within 5 years, you will walk into a retail store that will recognize your cell phone. As you pass by digital screens, advertisements geared directly towards your buying habits will flash at you encouraging you to buy specific items that you may not have known that you need.
You work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and your small business taxes are going up.
While you were working, 1,300 prisoners have cashed in 9 million dollars in first-time homebuyers tax breaks.
14,100 tax filers wrongly received $26.7 million in tax credits. A common scam used is having multiple tax filers receiving tax credit for the same house. In one case, 67 people claimed tax credits on the same house.
The I.R.S. is working on getting its money back and stated that the 9 million dollars going to prisoners was a small amount compared to the $18.7 billion that the government gave out for the entire program. I feel better now.
...and don't forget the 60+ I.R.S. agents that incorrectly took the tax credit

I've previously told you about several California communities who have banned Happy Meals (or at least the toys that come with a Happy Meal). The thought being that the toys encourage children to make poor nutritional choices and get into bad eating habits.
Now, a nutrition watchdog group (whatever that is) is threatening to sue McDonald's if the fast-food chain does not stop using toys to lure children to its Happy Meals.
"McDonald's is the stranger in the playground handing out candy to children," CSPI's (The Center for Science in the Public Interest) litigation director, Stephen Gardner, said in a prepared statement. "It's a creepy and predatory practice that warrants an injunction." The toys lead to bad eating habits, obesity, diabetes, and other diseases over the course of a lifetime.
McDonald's disagrees claiming that its meals are "right-sized for kids" and that it offers healthful choices including the choice of sliced apples instead of French fries.
