Better Burgers Beef Up Sales
Last
week, we talked a little bit about burgers, retail stores, and the
recession.
Although many retailers and restaurants are losing business,
McDonald’s is still flourishing. Many retailers are trying to cope
with the recession by offering lower priced items. McDonald’s is
doing very well with its value meals. At the same time, McDonald’s
is offering a new $4 burger.
It’s important for all retailers and restaurants to remember that
it is not the price that drives customers to buy. It is the
value.
Even if you don’t own a restaurant, it’s still important to keep the
McDonald’s strategy in mind. McDonald’s is offering low priced value
meals along with higher priced $4 burgers. They are black angus
burgers. Even though I am a big burger fan, I’m not exactly sure
what a black angus burger means, but it sounds like a high class
burger.
No matter what type of store you own, you can emulate McDonald’s.
Offer that $19.95 tool kit to draw people into your store. Place
your high quality magnetized screw drivers right next to the kit.
Train your employees to demonstrate the magnetized screw driver. See
where your sales go.
Ah! Don’t forget, if you are offering a $19.95 tool kit, make sure
it also has value to your customers. Selling a $19.95 junky toolkit
may not keep your customers. Remember the days when Sears used to
sell its GOOD, BETTER, BEST products? When you do offer an
inexpensive value product, it should be a GOOD product. Customers
will see right through you if you try to sell LOUSY, BETTER, BEST.
Back to the burgers. I learned about a company called Smashburger at
a website called Fast Casual. Smashburger is a Denver-based burger
establishment with $5 million in sales which is a 233% increase over
the previous year.
Read about how Tom Ryan (the founder) did it at:

Fast Casual is a FREE website and magazine devoted to ideas and
trends for the fast casual restaurant. You can visit the website,

FinallyFast.com (Speed Up Your Computer)
WARNING...Please read this entire article before going to the site.
FinallyFast.com advertises all over the place. I’ve seen their ads
on TV and listened to it on the radio (CBS News and other stations).
Is your computer running slow? Are you ready to be finally fast?
Instantly find and remove all errors on your computer.
FinallyFast.com claims to search for thousands of errors on your
computer and instantly remove them. Not only that, you can go to
their site and get a FREE scan.
Since I am on the internet 24 hours a day (or at least it seems like
it), I get offers from hundreds of software companies that claim
they can speed up or fix my computer. I do what you should do.
Ignore them.
Lots of readers ask me about FinallyFast.com because of their
frequent TV and Radio ads. After all, who doesn’t want a faster
computer.
I have to admit that I have not tried the FREE scan nor have I tried
their products. When I heard the ad this morning (which I have heard
at least a hundred times before), I decided to give the pcAmerica
newsletter readers a little education related to the product.
When you look at their website, the implication is that this product
was mentioned or reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and
Newsweek. If you read the ad more carefully, you will see that
FinallyFast.com was never mentioned in any of these publications.
Personally, I would never load a FREE software product onto my
computer without further research. I have used such FREE downloads
as Spybot, Kaspersky, Trend Micro and others who offer FREE computer
scans. These are safe products.
How does one know what is safe and what is not?
In the case of FinallyFast.com, I
searched Google for FinallyFast.com and FinallyFast.com
scam. When you do such a search for any product, you’ll always
find some negative feedback. If you start reading all the feedback,
you can get a better view of the product you are interested in.
Related to FinallyFast.com, lots of feedback indicates that
when you run the FREE scan, problems are actually placed onto your
computer. Once the FREE scan is completed, for $29.95, you can fix
all the problems.
I can’t tell you if FinallyFast.com works or doesn’t work. I
can say that I am not placing it on my computer. I can also advise
you to search Google for FinallyFast.com and make your own
decision.
How To Find Investment Scams
I am sure that all business owners are constantly receiving emails
and mailings related to investments. I get a few in the mail every
week.

They all sound great. Why manage or own a retail store or restaurant
when you can get rich just by reading one of these books or watching
a video?
When you get such a feeling or see an online ad, search for it on
Google. Add the word scam to the search.
I am not implying that all investments are scams; however, by adding
the word scam to your search, you will be able to see lots of
negative feedback related to any product. This gives you the
opportunity to see and evaluate what others have to say about a
particular investment or product.
By the way, if you want to lose weight, you can purchase Apidexin at
this website:
http://www.getdietsolutions.com/fat-burning/
It’s only $99.95 and it gets good reviews on the site. It even
contains 8 patented ingredients.
Now, search on Google for Apidexin scam. You get a totally
different view of the product.
By the way, I don’t use Apidexin nor do I recommend it. It is used
here only an example. If something sounds too good, you should do
some checking. Adding the word scam to your search will give
you a more complete view of the product or service you are
interested in.
How many times do business owners get calls from charities and
police organizations requesting donations?
